9However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"—
10but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. (1 Corinthians 2:9-12, New International Version)
Application
Holy Spirit is a very integral part of our lives. The Spirit is the one who allows us to be in God. The people in the Town of Slave Lake are just like this scripture where it says that they have not seen, nor heard, nor conceived. That means that they do not understand what God has in-store for those of us who love the Lord. God has shown us, by Holy Spirit. Jesus told us that Holy Spirit is our comforter and guide. If you are struggling with knowing God, I would encourage you to speak with Holy Spirit. He is the one who can lead you into all truth.
Now what…?
Take a moment to seek Holy Spirit. Just speak with him in your spirit. The Bible talks about deep calling unto deep. That means the spirit in you calling out to the spirit of God. Read over this scripture again and thank the Lord for revealing Holy Spirit to you.
